Founded in 1948, CSI is a national not-for-profit association of more than 6,000 members dedicated to improving the communication of construction information throughout continuous development and transformation of standards and formats, education and certification of professionals to improve project delivery processes. CSI members work tirelessly to effectively communicate the designers’ vision, the material producers’ solutions and the constructors’ techniques to create outstanding facilities that meet facility owners’ objectives.

CSI is dedicated to improving the communication of construction information through:

  • A diversified membership base of allied professionals including architects, designers, specification writers, product building reps, and general contractors, involved in the creation and management of the built environment.
  • Continuous development and transformation of standards and formats.
  • Education and certification of professionals to improve project delivery processes.
  • Creation of practice tools to assist users throughout the facility life-cycle.

CSI Atlanta is one of the fastest growing chapters in the Southeast Region. Once a month, our members enjoy an AIA approved tech session for continuing education, followed by happy hour and a product show provided by our sponsors, then concluded with a dinner presentation – speakers present on a variety of topics including the economic outlook, project specific deep dives, the future of the built environment, and more. Sometimes, we will also enjoy hearing from panels of A/E/C professionals addressing a variety of topics. It’s a fun way to engage with and expand your professional network, receive CE credits and expand your industry knowledge. We also enjoy social events throughout the CSI year including our Holiday party in December and our annual Spring Fling in April.
